Associations are VERY important – they provide an insight into a business and a business's character. We have a number of associations, and ensure that we continue to maintain and maximise the benefits of our these. We are associated with the following organisations:

Internet NZ.

Jethost is pleased be affiliated with Internet NZ. Internet NZ is the organisation that controls (as much as is appropriate) the direction of the internet in New Zealand. They also are the governing regulators of the NZ ccTLD - a very important organisation in NZ.

Their mission is to promote and protect the Internet, ensuring that it operates in an open and uncapturable environment. Their represented members include internet service providers, web designers, academia, public information groups and internet users. InternetNZ provide commentary and advice to politicians, industry influencers and the media.

InternetNZ also owns the New Zealand Domain Name Registry Limited, operating as the .nz register and trading as NZ Registry Services (NZRS - www.nzrs.net.nz).

Jethost is a 'Partner & Visionary' with InternetNZ, allowing us to have input into the direction of the internet in New Zealand, by having our say on relevant and current issues.

Internet Safety Group.

NetSafe, the programme of New Zealand's Internet Safety Group (ISG), is cybersafety education for all New Zealanders - children, parents, schools, community organisations and businesses. The ISG has been designated the Ministry of Education's 'agent of choice' for cybersafety education in New Zealand. Jethost is an active associate member of the ISG.

TearFund New Zealand

Jethost is a child sponsor and a micro-enterprise donator for Tearfund. This charity is close to the heart of our business and therefore we feel passionate about using our revenues in a responsible and generouse manner.
