Toward this end, Jethost allies itself with TEAR Fund NZ to support their MicroEnterprise programme. Tear Fund’s Micro Enterprise programme has been successfully running for over ten years, providing small loans and training for the poor, equipping them with the resources to establish small businesses in developing countries. Loans are repaid and re-loaned to others- time and again. Families are therefore assisted to care for themselves with dignity and hope. No hand outs, just a hand up.

Jethost provides every customer that signs up for a web hosting account with the opportunity to donate 5% of their account fees to the Microenterprise programme. There is no additional cost to the customer, it simply ensures that 5% of the fees paid to Jethost, are given to TEAR Fund's Microenterprise programme.
